1. Requirements for geomembrane anchorage

(1) During excavation, the anchor shall not disturb the soil at the bottom of the ditch. The bottom of the ditch is flat and free of loose soil. The depth and slope of the trench wall meet the design requirements;

② Before backfilling the anchor, do not flood the bottom of the ditch, and discharge the accumulated water in time;

(3) The anchoring ditch should be backfilled in time, and the soil quality of the backfilled soil should meet the design requirements. Backfill soil should be laminated by a small compactor, and the compactness should not be less than 93%;

(4) During the laying process, geosynthetic materials should be avoided due to loading and unloading activities, high temperatures, chemical leaks or other factors;

(5) Laying tools shall not destroy the normal use of geosynthetic materials, construction machinery and equipment shall not cause obvious scratches on geosynthetic materials, and will not cause damage to the surface of the laid substrate;

When the overlap width of the material is adjusted during the laying process, the connection part shall not be damaged, and the installed geomembrane shall not be damaged when the position is adjusted.

(7) If the construction is carried out on rainy days, the construction must be carried out after obtaining feasible measures and being confirmed by the supervisor and the owner’s representative;

There must be sufficient temporary ballasts (sandbags) during construction to prevent the laying of geomembrane from being blown up due to strong winds. In the case of strong winds, the geomembrane must be temporarily fixed and the installation work suspended.

  1. Geomembrane protection

People walking on the geomembrane shall not wear hard-soled shoes or engage in other activities that may damage the geomembrane;

② All on-site personnel are prohibited from smoking;

③ Can not travel on the geomembrane, you can use light vehicles.

(4) During operation, all equipment shall not damage the geomembrane;

⑤ In heavy traffic areas, lay a protective layer on the geomembrane;

Prevent hydrocarbon leakage or other damage to the geomembrane;

ed is equipped with pads large enough to prevent oil leakage from generators working on geomembrane;

8 After the construction acceptance, the geomembrane should be covered with the protective layer in time according to the requirements.

When un is deployed, the geomembrane should not be damaged, stretched or wrinkled, and the surface of the impermeable layer beneath the geomembrane should be protected from damage.

  1. Welding of geomembrane

The outdoor construction of HDPE geomembrane should be carried out in the weather with the above temperature of 5 ° C and below 4 and no rain or snow wind force.

② Welding adopts double welding lap welding. Weld overlap width is 10 cm. There should be no impurities that affect the welding quality of the weld lap surface, such as dirt, sand (including dew), etc.

③ Field laying experiments are carried out to determine the construction process parameters such as welding temperature and speed.

④ When welding, the substrate surface should be dry, and the moisture content should be less than 15%. The surface of the geomembrane should be wiped clean with dry gauze.

⑤ In the adjusted working state, the small sample welding experiment is carried out to test the HDPE geomembrane sample with a welding length of 1m. The field tear test sample is used, and the weld is not damaged by tension, and the substrate is cracked, and it is considered qualified. After the field tear test is qualified, the heat sealing machine that has been adjusted to the working state is used for formal welding one by one. Use an extrusion welding machine to weld T-shaped joints to repair scars and special joints.

⑥ The HDPE geomembrane at the weld should be integrated, and there should be no virtual welding or welding leakage. When a false weld leak occurs, the weld must be cut open and the substrate repaired using a hot melt extruder so that the diameter of the damaged part being cut is greater than twice the diameter of the damaged part.

The width of the double seam of the weld shall be 2×10 mm. The displacement size between the transverse welds should be greater than or equal to 500mm.
